Workpiece: 25mm OD round tube for chair frame production

Challenge: The chair frame requires two different bending radii on one single tube. Ordinary tube benders without push bending function cannot complete multi-radius forming in one cycle, resulting in poor tube section quality, wrinkling and low production efficiency. The client needed an automatic CNC tube bending machine with push bending capability to produce consistent chair frame parts.

Solution:

After technical evaluation and sample testing, the customer selected DW38CNC5A3S fully automatic CNC tube bender manufactured by JIANGSU CLAYTON MACHINERY.

This 5-axis 3-stack die tube bender is equipped with professional push bending system. It can finish multiple bends with different radii in one automatic operation. The push bending auxiliary support effectively avoids tube wall thinning, buckling and wrinkling during bending, ensuring uniform dimension and stable repeatability for chair frame components.

The CNC control system allows programming of all bending angles, feeding lengths and rotation parameters. All chair frame programs can be stored and quickly recalled for batch production. After machine commissioning, the Vietnam customer achieved stable mass production of 25mm chair frame tubes, reduced scrap rate and improved production output.
